You cannot leave comments for this CD because you are This one is a nice stop gap, but I dont want them becoming a covers band, as thats what a band does at the start of its career, not later. Like most people, I want a new LA Guns (not the fake version fronted by Jizzy and Tracii) album, full of new songs. My only gripe is this is now their third covers album if you included Hollywood Rehearsal, and their second covers album in six years, which isnt good when you consider they only released 3 albums in that period. I am one of those rare people that actually loves covers and tribute albums, and I love this one as well (theres a couple of tracks that I think are bad choices, purely based on not liking the songs). I think Phil is better with out him and his erratic behavior and sloppy playing. Stacy Blades is a great guitar player as evidenced on Tales from the Sunset Strip. Guns is sloppy and lousy, however Phil's version kicks ass. Guns lyrics with translations: Ballad of Jayne, Crystal Eyes, Out of Sight, Get Along, Fade Away. No Doubt Tracii was a great guitar player and probably could be again. This is a strong album for what it is, I would much rather have a new album of NEW material. The only weak point it is that Paul and Trace has parted ways.I'm sure that together Hard Rock they would be much stronger Long as they are at least 4 songs in length.Įxisting comments about this CD From: johnny hard rockĪwsome new job from Phil Lewis´L.A.
